I tend to view the counseling process as something like opening a treasure chest filled with tidbits that we learn about ourselves to become stronger and navigate our way through our lives better. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for fourteen years now and have been in the mental health field for over eighteen years. In that time, I have worked with a myriad of issues, from depression to couples issues to end-of-life issues and much more. I have worked in both mental health agencies and in private practice.

My passion is for helping people. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the key elements in great therapy, and the better I get to know you and you know me, the more effective I can be in helping you to uncover your own answers.
